About Jaksa

Jaksa is a multi-disciplinary performing arts studio that fosters creativity, nurtures talent and empowers students.

Through our tailored programs and encouragement, Jaksa students have successfully auditioned, securing lead and ensemble rolls performing with many local community Musical Theatre groups such as The Regals Musical Society, Engadine Musical Society, Bankstown Musical Society, Sutherland Musical Society, The Canterbury Theatre Guild, Rockdale Musical Society and Ruby Productions.

Senior students have been contracted by Glasshouse Productions, securing roles in original stage shows titled “Grease Vs Hairspray: Rock N Soul” and “Meet The Transylvanians”, touring RSL Clubs throughout NSW and we also congratulate one of our Junior students, Oliver, who secured the role of Young Charlie in The Capitol Theatre’s production of “Kinky Boots”!

Jaksa dance classes follow the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dance (CSTD) syllabus to facilitate technique however our primary focus is to extend and polish each individual’s performance.

Jaksa singers, dancers and drama students have many opportunities to celebrate their talent:

> School fetes and celebrations

> Musical Theatre Shows

For fourteen years, Jaksa has promoted hundreds of children and adults from Bankstown, Milperra, East Hills, Panania, Picnic Point, Revesby, Padstow, Condell Park, Georges Hall, Chipping Norton, Moorebank, Liverpool and the surrounding suburbs.
