About Jaksa

Jaksa is a multi-disciplinary performing arts studio that fosters creativity, nurtures talent and cultivates confident “triple threats”, versatile Singers/Dancers/Actors for commercial and corporate employment.

Many Jaksa students are regularly cast in leading and ensemble roles in musical’s with The Regals Musical Society, Engadine Musical Society, Bankstown Musical Society, Sutherland Musical Society, The Canterbury Theatre Guild, Rockdale Musical Society and Ruby Productions.

Two of our senior students have also just been contracted by Glasshouse Productions, securing leading roles in a new stage show called “Rock N Soul”, touring RSL Clubs throughout NSW. Also, congratulations to Oliver for acquiring the role of Young Charlie in The Capitol Theatre’s production of “Kinky Boots”. We are tremendously proud of you, Oliver!

All dancing classes follow the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dance (CSTD) syllabus.  Jaksa jazz, ballet, tap and musical theatre students, are encouraged to participate in exams, however participation is not compulsory.


Stage Shows

Singers, dancers and drama students have many performance opportunities throughout the year:

> Local School fairs and fetes

> Local Musical Theatre Shows

> Drama students put on an original pantomime during Term 3.

For twelve years, Jaksa has taught hundreds of students from Bankstown, Milperra, East Hills, Panania, Picnic Point,

Revesby, Padstow, Condell Park, Georges Hall, Chipping Norton, Liverpool and the surrounding suburbs.
