Miss Jahn has extensive singing, dancing and acting training at various venues such as, Sharon Alback Dance Centre, David Atkin’s Dynamite Dance Studio, Sydney Dance Company & The Conservatorium of Music. She has also studied under Mary Martin, Colin Keats, Don Graydon, Kelley Abbey, Keith Hawley and Jason Coleman to name a few.
Miss Jahn has performed nationally and internationally across a variety of genres and venues, including Captain Cook Cruises and the Sydney Opera House with various theatrical stars such as Rhonda Burchmore, Simon Gallagher, Roxanne, Peter Andre and Trevor Greene while teaching at an array of performing arts schools across Sydney and Brisbane.
Miss Jahn continues to perform at various corporate events, stage shows and musical theatre.
Miss Alexia has years of on-stage experience in theatrical performance, performing all over NSW in various stage shows, eisteddfords and corporate events.
With over 18 years of dance training, Miss Alexia’s attention to detail along with her strong dance technique helps the students to develop quickly under her kind guidance.
Miss Shaylee has had 15 years of dance training in all genres, Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop and Contemporary and is currently in her second year studying Certificate 4 in Performance at Ed5 International.
Miss Lana - Student Teacher
Miss Lana has been studying RAD and CSTD dance and drama for 15 years, 9 of those at Jaksa Performing Arts Studio. In 2016 she was nominated for "On Stage" which is a presentation and exhibition of group and individual performances and projects by Higher School Certificate Drama students. An experienced performer, Miss Lana has been heavily involved in musical’s with various Theatre Companies and has been recently contracted by Glasshouse Productions securing a lead role in a new stage show touring RSL & corporate venues thorughout NSW.
Miss Ashlee graduated from ED5INTERNATIONAL in 2014, under the direction of William Forsythe, with a Diploma of Performing Arts where she studied all forms of dance, singing and acting.
With over 19 years of RAD, BAL and CSTD dance training, Miss Ashlee continues to perform in various stage shows and corporate events throughout NSW and the ACT and has choreographed "13 The Musical" produced by Birdie productions and stage shows, "TranSOULvania" and "Rock N Soul."
Miss Natalie has her Masters of Teaching (Secondary) specialising in Drama & English. With extensive stage experience, Miss Natalie brings knowledge and techniques that will help challenge and develop our Jaksa students.
Miss Emelia has recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Secondary) majoring in Drama and History. A dancer herself with over 16 years of training in Irish & RAD. Miss Emelia’s experience will help guide the Jaksa students developing techniques.
Miss Tyler has recently graduated from Ettinghausens Fulltime Certificate IV in Dance. With over 15 years of dance training in RAD ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre and Latin, Miss Tyler is also an accredited Acrobatics teacher and looks forward to guiding our Jaksa students in developing athletic skills and strong technique.
Heyland has studied at the Conservatorium of Music and has over 22 years of experience. He has a down to earth approach to teaching and is a highly skilled and sort after accompanist.
Miss Angelique graduated from Brent Street in 2016 with her Certificate 4 in Performance. She has over 16 years of dance training at various studios and has just been signed with JEEP Management and continues to work within the industry at various corporate events.
Miss Jessica - Student Teacher
Miss Jessica has been dancing for 14 years, training in all genres such as Ballet (RAD), Tap (Glen Wood and CSTD), Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Singing and Acting. She has excelled in many dance exams, has participated in vocal and dance competitions and performs at a variety of community and corporate events. For someone so young, she has been trained by many industry professionals including: NIDA, David Cuthbertson, Stephen Tannos, Thern Reynolds, Lauren Seymour, Jay Johns, Keiynan Londsale and of course our very own Miss Jahn. Miss Jessica loves sharing her joy of dance and performance with the younger students at Jaksa.
Miss Jaicy - Student Teacher
Miss Jaicy has been studying singing and all dance genres for 13 years and continues to perform in many community and corporate events. Her strong choreographic skills and dance technique compliments her contemporary vocal skills making her an all round performer.
